Morgan State University Representatives visits The Institute

Recently, members of Morgan State University, led by Jamaican lecturer Ras Dr. Wayne Rose, paid a courtesy visit to the P.J. Patterson Institute for Africa-Caribbean Advocacy, where they met with the Statesman-in-Residence, The Most Honourable P.J. Patterson; Patron of the Institute, The Most Honourable Professor Sir Kenneth Hall; along with other staff members.

The visit blossomed into a meaningful dialogue on history and Caribbean identity, exploring themes of transformation, Pan-Africanism, advocacy, and scholarship.

Following the meeting, both parties agreed to explore avenues for collaboration between The University of the West Indies—anchored at the Institute—and Morgan State University. Areas of partnership include public lectures, education, outreach, cultural exchange, and joint scholarly initiatives.

The P.J. Patterson Institute is pleased to collaborate with local, regional, and international institutions dedicated to deepening relations among Africa, the Caribbean, and the Diaspora.
